What is the cancellation policy?
All orders are “Special Order”. Any order may be cancelled within 24 hours from the time of purchase with no additional charge. Exceptions are customs orders (products that are personalized in size, fabric, color etc.). Any cancellations after 24 hours please contact us and we will assess your situation. There is a 25% cancellation fee.
What if my items arrive damaged?
All furniture is inspected thoroughly prior to delivery to make sure it is received in good condition. In the event of damages please save all original packaging and notify customer service immediately. If there are any hidden or concealed damage, pictures are required and must be reported to us within 48 hours of furniture arrival. Based upon the review of the pictures, we will send replacement parts free of charge. If the merchandise is refused upon delivery due to damages, note the damage on the delivery receipt and we will make every effort to help you obtain the necessary replacement as quickly as possible at no extra cost to you. HomefurnitureNYC.com reserves the right to repair or replace furniture as deemed necessary at HomefurnitureNYC.com discretion. If you have chosen to pick up your furniture from any of our warehouse, we encourage you to inspect the item before you take possession, for it is not returnable or refundable.
Exchanges & Refunds
The returned item(s) are inspected immediately upon receipt. Any appropriate exchanges, credits and refunds will be issued for the purchase price of the item(s); taxes are refunded in accordance with applicable state law. With the exception of damaged or defective merchandise, shipping, delivery, and handling charges are nonrefundable, and return shipping or pickup fees may apply. Most refunds or credits are based on the payment method used at the time of purchase. Please allow 7-10 business days following receipt of the return items for any credit or refund to display on your credit card statement.
Mattresses may be returned if delivered damaged or later found to be defective. If your mattress is delivered damaged, contact the customer service number for assistance within 24 hours of delivery. Defects discovered more than 24 hours after the mattress was delivered may be covered by the manufacturer's warranty, if any.
What is your return policy?
All returned products MUST be new and in unused condition also in original packaging; otherwise additional charges may be applied. No returns allowed on customized items and are also non-refundable. All approved returns are subject to a 25 % re-stocking fee.
Once a Fabric, leather, wood or combo warranty has been applied to your order, the charges cannot be reversed. All warranties are non-refundable.
